A challenging night trail race on the beautiful and rugged cliffs of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. This is an ideal race if you are looking to gain experience of night trail running or as a training race for a longer ultra. With a start time of 4.30pm and around 2300m of ascent, this is a tough race with a tough cutoff. If you think you can run all of Guernsey’s cliffs, twice, and be back before midnight this is for you.
The adventure starts at dusk in an 18th century fort with views down to St Peter Port and the iconic mediaeval Castle Cornet. The route follows the cliff path - which is demanding in the daylight and even more so at night - right to the southwesterly tip of the island and the turnaround point.
